In a nation of gardener’s, we appreciate the importance to communicate the ‘Healing Power of Plant’s’, after a recently conducted survey confirmed the public’s knowledge of herbal medicines was limited. We have always looked to better educate the UK on THR medicines and the plants and herbs they are derived from, particularly in a nation promoting self-care, so RHS Chelsea Flower Show was the perfect place to do this.
Potter’s Herbals exhibited to 157,000 attendees in one of RHS Chelsea Flower Show’s Hat Stands at the entrance of the prestigious VIP marquee. The magnificent stand displayed not only our full Potter’s Herbals range, but the herbs and plants used to blend the remedies. A fragrant stand filled with Wild Indigo, Pelargonium, and Echinacea to name a few, soon drew in teams of flower enthusiasts searching for the remedies for all their everyday ailments.
On Tuesday and Thursday, HPAC member Chris Etheridge, a Medical Herbalist, took consultations with Flower Show attendees to prescribe herbal alternatives to help them heal and taught interested gardener’s the real healing power of the plants and herbs used in the Potter’s Herbals range.
As well as this, Potter’s Herbals user & Celebrity Gardener, Chris Beardshaw, was joined by ex-Hollyoaks actress, Gemma Merna on Chris’s award-winning garden, successfully modelling British heritage-style hats created from Potter’s Herbals medicinal plants and herbs. Chris then drove crowds to the Potter’s Herbals stand by running 1-2-1 sessions on herbal gardening.
RHS Chelsea Flower Show was a great success in helping us bring Potter’s Herbals into hundreds of homes around the UK and better educate attendees of the ‘Healing Power of Plants.’
